Manufacturing Facilities

Nashik plant:

The manufacturing plant at Nashik, India, has the facilities to manufacture critical components for large engines in both In-line and Vee configurations. The sub-assembly and main assembly set up along with test facilities conform to international quality standards.

The Nashik plant is committed to the cause of energy conservation by establishing structured energy management and continually improve its systems, resulting in reduction of specific energy consumption.

The Nashik plant won second prize in “National Energy Conservation Award 2009 under general category. This prestigious award in the field of energy conservation is conferred by the Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency. This award was awarded by the Hon’ble Union Minister of Power of the Government of India.

 

Engine test facility:

The plant is equipped with test benches to test engines up to 10 MW using hydraulic dynamometers.

 

DG set test facility:

A state-of-the-art facility enables to test fully assembled diesel generating sets up to 5 MW, on electrical loads controlled by SCADA system in steps of 100 KW min.
