  • 2015:  Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd signs MoU with MTU Friedrichshafen, GmbH.
 
 
  • 2014:  KOEL Green – the new brand Identity for KOEL gensets WINgineering – KOEL’s first CPCB II compliant genset launched Multipurpose farm equipment – Mega T launched.
 
 
  • 2013:  KOEL enters Limca Book of records for 7 consecutive ‘in time wage agreement’ signing since 1995 before its expiry.
 
 
  • 2012:  KOEL enters the residential diesel genset market with the launch of Chota Chilli.
 
 
  • 2011:  KOEL launches its first Corporate Sustainability report.
 
 
  • 2010:  Inauguration of Kirloskar Oil Engines, Kagal Plant.
 
 
  • 2004:  Received TS16949 accreditation.
 
 
  • 2001: Received self-certification status from the Indian Army.
 
 
  • 1999: Received ISO 14001 certification for environment-friendly manufacturing facilities.
 
 
  • 1998: Received QS 9000 certification.
 
 
  • 1992:  Received ISO 9001 certification for manufacturing operations.
 
 
  • 1979:  Established collaboration with SEMT Pielstick, France.
 
 
  • 1946: Established as Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd.
 
 
  • 1920: Kirloskar launches its first range of pumps.
 
 
  • 1910: Farm Implements Factory.
 
 
  • 1904: First Indian “Iron Plough”.
 
 
  • 1901: First Indian “Fodder Cutter”.
 
 
  • 1888: Cycle Works at Kirloskarwadi.
